When wedged, the remaining height differences between two adjacent tiles are entirely eliminated, making it particularly helpful for larger tiles. It can be used on both floors and walls. The tile leveling system consists of baseplates, wedges, and pliers. Using the baseplate under the tile, the wedge secures the tiles into level alignment.
The wedge tightening is done using specially designed pliers. The baseplates keep the tiles spaced at 1 mm joint width. If a wider joint is needed, tile spacers should also be used. After the adhesive has fully set, the wedges and visible parts of the baseplates can be removed. This operation should always be performed parallel to the grout lines with a measured strike, using either a rubber mallet or by simply kicking them out. The clips and wedges are easy to remove, and the wedges can be reused multiple times, only requiring new baseplates.
Suitable for tile thicknesses of 7-13 mm.
