In addition to accurately measuring wind speed, the MC0957 also records environmental temperature, significantly expanding its functionality. One key feature is the WIND CHILL function, which automatically takes the cooling effect of wind into account. When the temperature drops below 0°C, the device notifies the user that the wind's cooling effect was considered in the temperature measurement. This feature enables more precise analysis of the measured data relative to real meteorological conditions, making the tool even more reliable in providing accurate information.
The device also includes memory that allows storage of up to 1000 measurements, a low battery indicator, and an automatic shut-off function that activates after 10 minutes of inactivity. Powered by three AAA batteries, it is compact and lightweight, making it practical and easy to carry.
The device is compatible with a ¼” standard threaded tripod.
