The charger also has a diagnostic function, and the LEDs on it inform us about the charging stage of the battery as well as any potential damage.
It's worth noting the built-in USB port [5V/2A], which allows you to charge your smartphone or tablet while the battery is being charged. The USB charging is independent of the battery charging, so you can charge a device even if the battery is not being charged.
In terms of charging times, you can fully charge the 2.0Ah battery in just 30 minutes, while the 4.0Ah battery takes a bit longer—around 50 minutes. Fully charging the 5.0Ah model takes about one hour.
But that's not all—the new 21700 cell-based batteries (DED6936 and DED6937) allow for even faster charging. The 6.0Ah battery takes 50 minutes to charge, while the largest 8.0Ah battery only takes 60 minutes.
